Who we are

Natalie-Wearne

Natalie Wearne BBus (Honors), Grad Dip SR, IICT

Co-founder and Psychotherapist

I am passionate about walking alongside and guiding people through their journey towards healing and wellbeing. In a loving and judgement free space I will meet you where you are at, so we can walk this unique journey together in a way that is gentle and supportive.

I have always been fascinated by how early experiences shape people’s behaviours and relationships in later life, particularly how we can reset unhelpful patterns, limiting beliefs and recurring emotional pain.  In my practice I apply an embodied, mindful and compassion focused approach, which leads to deeply felt and lasting change

Using a somatic approach I will support you to achieve deepening awareness and find greater ease, whether you are looking for help with depression, anxiety, attachment issues, relationship challenges, or trauma. Having over two decades of experience in social and behaviour change research, within both population health and mental health settings, allows me to bring a unique perspective to my practice.

I come to sessions without an agenda, trusting in every person’s capacity to move towards growth and expansion. Within each person’s body and mind there is a natural desire to move towards wholeness – and I’m honoured to guide you in that process.

Being a mother has been pivotal in my ability to help and understand people. It’s brought compassion for the challenges – as well as the joys – of parenthood. In my work as a therapist, it’s helped me to be more flexible, creative, open and accepting. I bring my unconditional loving presence to each person along with my ability to ’sit with’ whatever is emerging rather than trying to ‘fix’ or cover over difficulties.

I delight in helping clients to explore their own inner landscapes, find new perspectives and greater joy in life.

I look forward to meeting you!
