Jane Castle BA, CHT, IICT
Co-founder, Psychotherapist & Certified Hakomi Therapist
Being human can be challenging – understatement! So when you walk into my room I will meet you with whatever amount of hope or despair you arrive with. I will meet you where you are, with the utmost respect for your unique journey.
Whether it’s depression, anxiety, grief, confusion, trauma, addiction or anything else that’s been keeping you trapped and unhappy, we’ll work together to help you come to a place of greater spaciousness and freedom.
My trust in, and reverence for, your life path is key to my approach. I don’t see you as broken or in need of repair. Instead, I see you as perfectly placed to rediscover your vast potential and your innate capacity to heal and grow.
I treat the work we do together as a collaboration. My role is not to tell you what to do. It is to help you understand, navigate and transform your inner world so that your outer world becomes more satisfying and joyful.
Just as with my work as an artist and filmmaker, I delight in the real-time creativity of each session. When we explore your internal landscape with mindfulness and curiosity, when we work with both mind and body, the magic starts to happen. Things start to shift deep inside and little things, then big things, begin to change.
I know what it’s like to sit on the other side of the therapy room as I’ve done my own healing work. So I understand how challenging – and rewarding – it can be to undertake personal therapy. And I know how much courage it takes to walk through the door.
If an introductory conversation would help you to take that first step, to get a sense of me and how I work, feel free to get in touch.
I look forward to meeting you!
